The Lexington Golden Bears basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Clements Colts to 52 in the Golden Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Bears now have a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sulligent for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Lexington will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 71-60 non-league win over Hubbertville (Fayette, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Clements falls to 3-16 on the campaign. The Colts host Rogers (Florence, AL) to confront the Pirates in a 3A Area 16 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 6-10. Rogers lost 27-22 in their recent non-league game against Wayne County (Waynesboro, TN)
