The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cloquet Lumberjacks (Cloquet, MN) and the visiting Two Harbors Agates (Two Harbors, MN), observed Cloquet's basketball team overwhelm Two Harbors by a score of 88-45.

The Lumberjacks (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hermantown (Hermantown, MN). The Hawks come into the AAA Section 7 challenge with a 2-9 record.

In their next game, the Agates encounter the McGregor Mercuries (McGregor, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Two Harbors will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Mercuries come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 75-61 league win over Cook County (Grand Marais, MN).
