The Mascoma Royals basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Conant Orioles to 37 in the Royals league triumph on Friday.

The Royals now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Kearsarge for a Division III game on Monday, January 6. Mascoma will confront a Cougars team coming off a 55-52 league win over Hopkinton (Contoocook, NH). The Cougars record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Conant falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Orioles host Hopkinton (Contoocook, NH) to confront the Hawks in a Division III game on Tuesday, January 7. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 2-2. Hopkinton lost 55-52 in their recent league game against Kearsarge (North Sutton, NH)
