Alabama High School Basketball - Cordova trounced by West Point

West Point Warriors (Cullman, AL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Cordova Blue Devils (Cordova, AL), 64-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Point advances its record to 16-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 10-8.
The Blue Devils now own a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tarrant for a 4A Area 9 match on Saturday, January 4. Cordova will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-47 non-league win over Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-4.
