The Greyhounds (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri-Village (New Madison, OH). The Patriots come into the Western Ohio challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Tri-Village prevailed over Belmont (Dayton, OH), 73-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians encounter the Milton-Union Bulldogs (West Milton, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Newton Local will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 58-45 league loss to Bethel (Tipp City, OH).
