The Doyle Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host St. John Eagles to 41 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now possess a 18-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lutcher for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Doyle will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-35 non-league loss to Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-13.
