The Elk County Catholic Crusaders (St. Marys, PA) basketball crushed the visiting DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals (DuBois, PA), 62-32 in Friday's league bout.

The Crusaders now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Punxsutawney for a District 9 bout on Wednesday, January 8. Elk County Catholic will play a Chucks team coming off a 68-33 league loss to Brookville (Brookville, PA). The Chucks record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, DuBois Central Catholic falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Clarion Area (Clarion, PA) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Clarion Area won 66-53 in their recent non-league bout against Marion Center (Marion Center, PA)
