Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Episcopal Academy nips Simon Gratz

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Episcopal Academy Churchmen basketball team scored a close 46-43 triumph over the Simon Gratz Bulldogs.
The Churchmen (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against William Penn Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Quakers go into the Inter-Academic contest with a 9-3 record.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Benjamin Franklin Electrons (Philadelphia, PA) in a Philadelphia Public - Liberty contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Simon Gratz will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Electrons go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 67-41 league win over String Theory (Philadelphia, PA).
