The Erie Royals (Erie, PA) basketball crushed the visiting North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA), 67-36 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Royals now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Meadville for a District 10 Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 7. Erie will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 73-42 non-league win over Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, North East falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Grape pickers host Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA) to play the Ramblers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. The Ramblers go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Cathedral Prep lost 53-49 in their recent non-league bout against Berks Catholic (Reading, PA)
