The First Colonial Patriots basketball team scored 84 points and limited the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats to 59 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bayside for a Beach game on Tuesday, January 7. First Colonial will play a Marlins team coming off a 59-55 non-league win over Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Marlins record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Great Bridge falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Granby (Norfolk, VA) to play the Comets in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 8. The Comets go into the game with a record of 4-4. Granby won 73-65 in their recent non-league game against Tabb (Yorktown, VA)
