The Gaston Bulldogs basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Wadley Bulldogs to 57 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now have a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Pleasant Valley for a 2A Area 13 game on Tuesday, January 7. Gaston will confront a Raiders team coming off a 75-37 non-league win over Faith Christian (Anniston, AL). The Raiders record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Wadley falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Beauregard (Opelika, AL) to confront the Hornets in a non-league game on Monday, January 6. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 2-9. Beauregard won 46-42 in their recent non-league game against LAMP (Montgomery, AL)
