The Warriors (13-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Bengals come into the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Plainfield East was routed by Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL), 66-37, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Rockford East E-Rabs (Rockford, IL) in a Northern Illinois 10 challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Harlem will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The E-Rabs come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 43-42 non-league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, IL).
