In Friday's non-league test, the Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans (Woodhull, IL) basketball squad got by the host Henry-Senachwine Mallards (Henry, IL), by a score of 63-62.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes (Abingdon, IL) in a Lincoln Trail test, on Tuesday, January 7. Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Tornadoes come into the test with a 6-9 record after their 54-42 non-league loss to Macomb (Macomb, IL).

The Mallards (2-13) will now prepare for their test against DePue (DePue, IL). The Little Giants come into the non-league test with a 2-11 record.
