New Jersey High School Basketball - Hightstown succumbs to Hopewell Valley Central

The Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs defeated the visiting Hightstown Rams basketball squad by a final score of 62-51 in Friday's league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs face the Allentown Redbirds (Allentown, NJ) in a Colonial Valley match, on Saturday, January 4. Hopewell Valley Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Redbirds enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 57-42 non-league win over Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ).

The Rams now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ramapo for a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. Hightstown will face a Raiders squad coming off a 40-30 non-league loss to Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 2-3.
