The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hillsboro Burros (Nashville, TN) and the host Houston Mustangs (Germantown, TN), observed Hillsboro's basketball team overcome Houston by a margin of 67-58.

The Burros (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pace Academy (McKinney, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Pace Academy dropped by Bella Vista College Preparatory School (Scottsdale, AZ), 94-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers (Chatsworth, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Houston will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 75-74 non-league loss to Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA).
