The Walnut Grove Warriors basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Jasper County Hurricanes to 44 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now possess a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Eastside for a AAAA Region 8 game on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, Jasper County drops to 4-9 on the year. The Hurricanes host Jackson (Jackson, GA) to face the Red Devils in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 3-8. Jackson won 61-50 in their recent non-league match against Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA)
