In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Port Allen Pelicans basketball team scored a big 78-44 win over the Jefferson RISE Charter .
The Pelicans (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against White Castle (White Castle, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, White Castle was trounced by Plaquemine (Plaquemine, LA), 72-37, in a non-league contest.
