The Cats (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Colton (Colton, CA). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Colton prevailed over Rim of the World (Lake Arrowhead, CA), 53-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cavaliers encounter the Chaffey Tigers (Ontario, CA) in a Mt. Baldy challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Montclair will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 65-44 non-league win over Western Christian (Upland, CA).
