The Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH) basketball edged the host Nashua South Purple Panthers (Nashua, NH), 70-68 in Friday's league bout.
The Blackbirds now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Goffstown for a Division I bout on Tuesday, January 7. Keene will play a Grizzlies team coming off a 90-57 league win over Timberlane (Plaistow, NH). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-2.

The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Alvirne won 52-37 in their recent league bout against Pinkerton (Derry, NH)
