New York High School Basketball - Kingston holds off Niskayuna

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Kingston Tigers basketball team scored a close 74-72 triumph over the Niskayuna Silver Warriors.
The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY). The Bushmen go into the Section 9 Orange County I contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Pine Bush nipped Middletown (Middletown, NY), 54-50, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Silver Warriors confront the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Gray contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Niskayuna will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 61-58 non-league loss to South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY).
