In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting KIPP Nashville Collegiate Warriors basketball team scored a good 51-43 triumph over the York Institute Dragons.
The Warriors (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Beech (Hendersonville, TN). The Buccaneers go into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Beech topped New Faith Christian Academy (Riverdale, GA), 83-64, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Stone Memorial Panthers (Crossville, TN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. York Institute will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 12-4 record after their 69-62 non-league loss to Montgomery Academy (Montgomery, AL).
