The Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons (Madisonville, KY) basketball were winner over the visiting Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY), 63-48 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Maroons now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Dawson Springs for a District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 14. Madisonville-North Hopkins will play a Panthers team coming off a 76-49 non-league win over Livingston Central (Smithland, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Webster County falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host McLean County (Calhoun, KY) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 10-4.
