The Malvern Prep Friars basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Salesianum Sallies to 54 in the Friars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Friars now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Germantown Academy for a Inter-Academic game on Saturday, January 11.

With the loss, Salesianum falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Sallies travel to Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA) to confront the Friars/Pandas in a non-league game on Sunday, January 5. The Friars/Pandas go into the game with a record of 8-1. Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic won 86-69 in their recent league game against Archbishop Wood (Warminster, PA)
