Virginia High School Basketball - Queen City Prep knocked off by McLean

January 3, 2025: McLean, VA 22101

In Friday's non-league test, the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Queen City Prep Kings (Charlotte, NC), by a score of 72-61.

Next, the Highlanders encounter the Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA) in a District 2 test, on Friday, January 10. McLean will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record.

The Kings (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Lake Norman Christian (Davidson, NC). The Lions come into the non-league test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Lake Norman Christian beat Charlotte Elite Academy (Charlotte, NC), 67-62, in a non-league test.
