Iowa High School Basketball - Western Christian overwhelms Newell-Fonda

The Western Christian Wolfpack basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Newell-Fonda Mustangs to 37 in the Wolfpack non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wolfpack now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sergeant Bluff-Luton for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Western Christian will confront a Warriors team coming off a 64-29 non-league win over Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Newell-Fonda falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Spencer (Spencer, IA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 4-1.
