The Vandalia Vandals basketball team scored 84 points and limited the visiting North Clay/Clay City to 78 in the Vandals non-league triumph on Friday.
The Vandals now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Carlinville for a South Central game on Friday, January 10.
With the loss, North Clay/Clay City falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The host Fairfield (Fairfield, IL) to confront the Mules in a non-league game on Monday, January 6. The Mules go into the game with a record of 6-7. Fairfield lost 42-40 in their recent non-league game against Massac County (Metropolis, IL)
