The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Marion Huskies (Aurora, OR) and the host Seaside Seagulls (Seaside, OR), observed North Marion's basketball team edge Seaside by a score of 55-52.
The Huskies (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gladstone (Gladstone, OR). The Gladiators come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Gladstone edged Seaside (Seaside, OR), 42-39, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Seagulls encounter the Stevenson Bulldogs (Stevenson, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Seaside will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 86-40 league loss to Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA).
