The Oldham County Colonels basketball squad (Buckner, KY), was nudged 47-46 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY)

With the victory, Simon Kenton advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Huntington Expression Prep (Huntington, WV) to meet the Kings in a non-league battle on Friday, January 10. The Kings enter the battle with a record of 5-3.

The Colonels now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sayre for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4.
