The Mariners (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Magnolia (Anaheim, CA). The Sentinels come into the non-league challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last challenge, Magnolia was trounced by Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA), 75-30, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the battle the Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins (Sun Valley, CA) in a Central Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Valor Academy will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 57-14 non-league win over Valley Oaks CES (Sun Valley, CA).
