The Payson Longhorns basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Walden Grove Red Wolves to 61 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Friday.

The Longhorns now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sunnyside for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Payson will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 52-49 non-league win over Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Walden Grove falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Red wolves travel to Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ) to confront the Stallions in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Stallions go into the game with a record of 6-4. Shadow Ridge won 68-45 in their recent non-league game against Westwood (Mesa, AZ)
