In Friday's non-league contest, the host Raines Vikings basketball team scored a close 57-52 triumph over the Sandalwood Saints.
The Vikings (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against FAMU DRS (Tallahassee, FL). The Baby Rattlers go into the non-league contest with a 2-7 record.
In their next game, the Saints battle the Fleming Island Golden Eagles (Orange Park, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Sandalwood will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 66-59 non-league loss to Ponte Vedra (Ponte Vedra, FL).
