In Friday's non-league test, the Royal Knights (Royal City, WA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR), by a score of 78-39.
Next, the Knights encounter the Zillah Leopards (Zillah, WA) in a 1A South Central test, on Saturday, January 4. Royal will attempt to improve on its 10-0 season record. The Leopards come into the test with a 7-2 record after their 57-39 non-league win over King's (Seattle, WA).
The Pirates (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Heppner (Heppner, OR). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Heppner bounced Dufur (Dufur, OR), 35-30, in a non-league test.
