The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) and the host Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM), observed Riverside's basketball team knock off Ruidoso by a score of 66-50.
The Rangers (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 20-1 record. In their last challenge, Chapin prevailed over Carter (Dallas, TX), 53-38, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors encounter the West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 4. Ruidoso will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Dons go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 72-56 non-league win over Belen (Belen, NM).
