Rock Port Blue Jays (Rock Port, MO) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Union Star Trojans (Union Star, MO), 62-17 in a league match.

With the victory, Rock Port upgrades its record to 8-4 on the year. The Blue Jays travel to North Nodaway (Hopkins, MO) to face the Mustangs in a Highway 275 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 3-8. North Nodaway lost 69-52 in their recent non-league match against Stewartsville (Stewartsville, MO)
