Oregon High School Basketball - Santiam triumphant over Waldport

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR) and the visiting Waldport Irish (Waldport, OR), observed Santiam's basketball team overwhelm Waldport by a score of 63-17.
The Wolverines (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem Academy (Salem, OR). The Crusaders come into the 2A Tri-River challenge with a 6-1 record.
In their next game, the Irish encounter the Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Waldport will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
