The St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Slaughter Community Charter Knights to 23 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Slidell for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. St. Helena College and Career Academy will play a Tigers team coming off a 47-39 non-league win over Hahnville (Boutte, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Slaughter Community Charter falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Knights host East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 18-13. East Iberville won 49-11 in their recent non-league game against Westminster Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA)
