The Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR) basketball were winner over the host Springfield Millers (Springfield, OR), 53-40 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Wolverines now possess a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Roseburg for a 6A Southwest bout on Friday, January 10.
With the loss, Springfield falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Millers travel to Cascade (Turner, OR) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-0.
