The McNair Eagles basketball squad (Stockton, CA), was nudged 60-53 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA)

With the victory, River Islands advances its record to 3-8 on the year. The Riptide host Linden (Linden, CA) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 8. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 4-5. Linden won 51-18 in their recent non-league battle against Argonaut (Jackson, CA)
