The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mountain City Christian Academy Lions (Anchorage, AK) and the host Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK), observed Mountain City Christian Academy's basketball team overwhelm Bartlett by a margin of 83-51.
The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Barrow (Utqiagvik, AK). The Whalers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Barrow trounced Tikigaq (Point Hope, AK), 78-20, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Golden Bears battle the West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge, on Monday, January 6. Bartlett will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 59-38 non-league loss to Maryknoll (Honolulu, HI).
