The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bethel Bison (Spanaway, WA) and the host Puyallup Vikings (Puyallup, WA), observed Bethel's basketball team overcome Puyallup by a margin of 50-37.

The Bison (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Curtis (University Place, WA). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Curtis defeated Yelm (Yelm, WA), 44-13, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Graham-Kapowsin Eagles (Graham, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Puyallup will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 79-45 non-league win over Orting (Orting, WA).
