The Bismarck Lions (Bismarck, AR) basketball were winner over the host Magnet Cove Panthers (Malvern, AR), 37-28 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Genoa Central for a 3A Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 7. Bismarck will play a Dragons team coming off a 53-42 non-league win over Blevins (Blevins, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Magnet Cove falls to 12-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Fordyce (Fordyce, AR) to play the Redbugs in a 2A Region 8 bout on Thursday, January 9. The Redbugs go into the bout with a record of 2-8.
