In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Colfax Vikings basketball team scored a close 59-57 triumph over the Bloomer Blackhawks.
The Vikings (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Croix Central (Hammond, WI). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, St. Croix Central was tipped by Elk Mound (Elk Mound, WI), 49-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Blackhawks confront the Ellsworth Panthers (Ellsworth, WI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Bloomer will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 42-31 non-league win over Turtle Lake (Turtle Lake, WI).
