North Carolina High School Basketball - Covenant Day overwhelms Bradford Prep

The Covenant Day Lions basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Bradford Prep Bears to 31 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Covenant Classical for a non-league game on Monday, January 6. Covenant Day will confront a Warriors team coming off a 67-26 league loss to Arborbrook Christian Academy (Matthews, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Bradford Prep falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Christ the King (Huntersville, NC) to confront the Crusaders in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores game on Tuesday, January 7. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 7-2. Christ the King won 54-50 in their recent non-league game against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
