The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tri County Northeast Wolfpack (Emerson, NE) and the host Cornerstone Christian School Cougars (Bellevue, NE), observed Tri County Northeast's basketball team overwhelm Cornerstone Christian School by a score of 43-20.
The Wolfpack (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Wynot (Wynot, NE). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Wynot was routed by Archangels Catholic (Humphrey, NE), 43-36, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars encounter the College View Academy Eagles (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Cornerstone Christian School will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
