With the loss, Cottage Grove falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Newport (Newport, OR) to confront the Cubs in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Cubs go into the game with a record of 2-4. Newport won 43-20 in their recent non-league game against Westside Christian (Lake Oswego, OR)
