In Friday's non-league contest, the host Fort Worth THESA Riders basketball team scored a big 67-40 triumph over the Covenant Classical Cavaliers.

The Riders (20-6) will now prepare for their contest against Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Prestonwood Christian was trounced by Aledo (Aledo, TX), 53-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Fellowship Academy Mustangs (Kennedale, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 1 contest, on Friday, January 10. Covenant Classical will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record.
