The Cullman Bearcats basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Marion County Red Raiders to 47 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bearcats now possess a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Mortimer Jordan for a 6A Area 13 game on Tuesday, January 7. Cullman will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 61-42 non-league loss to Gardendale (Gardendale, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Marion County falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Hamilton (Hamilton, AL) to confront the Aggies in a non-league game on Monday, January 6. The Aggies go into the game with a record of 5-5. Hamilton won 57-22 in their recent non-league game against Brooks (Killen, AL)
