Georgia High School Basketball - Eagle's Landing nips Lithia Springs

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Eagle's Landing Eagles basketball team scored a close 25-23 triumph over the Lithia Springs Lions.
The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hampton (Hampton, GA). The Hornets go into the AAAA Region 2 contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Hampton was tipped by Jones County (Gray, GA), 84-25, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the East Paulding Raiders (Dallas, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Lithia Springs will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 46-40 non-league loss to Adairsville (Adairsville, GA).
