The Edinburgh Lancers basketball squad (Edinburgh, IN), was crushed 51-29 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers (Madison, IN)

With the victory, Shawe Memorial advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to Eastern (Pekin, IN) to meet the Musketeers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Musketeers enter the battle with a record of 9-6. Eastern won 65-58 in their recent non-league battle against South Central (Elizabeth, IN)

The Lancers now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Decatur for a Mid-Hoosier battle on Tuesday, January 7. Edinburgh will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 45-23 non-league win over Hauser (Hope, IN). The Chargers record now stands at 10-5.
