The Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA) basketball were winner over the host Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA), 60-42 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeview Charter for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. Kennedy will play a Lions team coming off a 48-21 non-league loss to Burroughs (Burbank, CA). The Lions record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Franklin falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Community Charter (Lakeview Terrace, CA) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. The Titans go into the game with a record of 4-2. Community Charter lost 58-10 in their recent non-league game against Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA)
